Dr Aarti Pema

Dr Aarti Pema is a consultant pathologist at Ampath's National Reference Laboratory. She obtained her undergraduate medical degree from the University of Stellenbosch in 2008 and went on to specialise as a Chemical Pathologist. Aarti qualified in 2017, earning both an MMed from the University of Pretoria and an FCPath (Chem) from the College of Medicine of South Africa. She joined Ampath in 2019 and has since focused her expertise on general and diagnostic chemical pathology, pre-laboratory processes and veterinary chemical pathology. With a strong commitment to her position, Aarti plays a key role in Ampath's dedication to delivering high-quality diagnostic services.
