Dr Karina Mentz

Dr Karina Mentz obtained her undergraduate medical degree at the University of Pretoria in 2001. After qualification, she did her internship at Themba Hospital and her Community Service at Dr George Mukhari Hospital (Garankuwa Hospital). She then spent two years in the United Kingdom working as a Resident Medical Officer in several private hospitals wherafter she returned to South Africa to work as a locum GP at a few practices in and around Pretoria. She obtained her MMed (Chem Path) degree at the University of Limpopo, Medunsa Campus in 2012. In 2014 she joined Ampath as consultant Chemical Pathologist and is currently working in the Specialised Chemistry laboratory in the National Reference Laboratory.
