Dr Muller Rossouw

Dr Helgard Muller Rossouw graduated from the University of Stellenbosch with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) in 2012. He completed his internship at the East London Hospital Complex and served his community service year at the Humansdorp District Hospital. Following a year at a tuberculosis (TB) hospital in Port Alfred, he spent two years working in the Department of Internal Medicine at Dora Nginza Regional Hospital in Gqeberha. He obtained the CMSA Diploma in HIV Management and the CMSA Diploma in Mental Health during these years. In 2022, he qualified as a chemical pathologist, with an MMed degree from the University of Pretoria and the FCPath (SA) Chem from the CMSA. He joined Ampath as a consultant chemical pathologist in January 2023 and is currently working in the Specialised Chemistry Department of the National Reference Laboratory. His professional interests include Occupational Health and Porphyria.
