Dr Wilmare Gouws

I completed my MBChB degree at the University of Pretoria in 2003. I subsequently graduated as a
Haematopathologist in 2013 from the University of Pretoria.
I am a Senior Consultant at Ampath’s National Reference Laboratory in Centurion and serve as the
Haematology Peer Group Leader.
My passions are morphology (Haemato-Oncology) and Haemoglobinopathies. I am a registered bone
marrow/stem cell donor (South African Bone Marrow Registry).
