Julie Lampret

Julie Lampretis a genetic counsellor at Ampath Genetics Laboratory in Ballito, KZN. Juliequalified and worked at the NHLS, Wits University as a genetic counsellor,where she was also involved in lecturing medical students, training nurses andoffered basic skills counselling courses to support groups. She subsequentlyworked as a genetic counsellor in the private sector in Johannesburg and KZN beforemoving abroad where she worked for Children’s Health Ireland in the children’shospital in Dublin, Ireland. Julie has a broad range of experience and hasworked extensively in prenatal, cancer and cardiac genetics.
