Epidemiological Weeks 1 - 39:

  • SARS-CoV-2: Positivity rate increased from 10.1% (week 35) to 13.8% (week 39).
  • RSV A&B: Positivity remained low, at 2.4% (week 39).
  • Influenza A: Low positivity rate of 1% in week 39.
  • Influenza B: Positivity increased from 1.4% (week 35) to 2.4% (week 39).

  • Total cases: 497
  • Most affected groups:
    • 0 - 6 months: 25%
    • 6 - 12 years: 22%

Additional Comments:

  • Most frequently detected viruses in September 2023:
    • <1 year: Rhino/Enterovirus, Rhinovirus, Parainfluenza 1-4, Adenovirus.
    • 1 - 5 years: Rhino/Enterovirus, Rhinovirus, Parainfluenza 1-4, Adenovirus.
    • 6 - 12 years: Rhinovirus, Rhino/Enterovirus, Parainfluenza 1-4.
  • Significant increase in Influenza B positivity in the 6–12-year age group (from 0.9% in August to 6.2% in September).
